NEXUS Unit Load Spiral Conveyor is equipped with slat chains in 400 mm or 600 mm width. Other widths can also be customized.
To ensure premium quality, all the slat chains are designed and produced by NEXUS (Taiwan).
FEATURES
Flexible Layout
The most used width of the slat chain is 400 mm and 600 mm.
The outer diameter is less than 2000 mm.
This makes the applications of NEXUS Spiral Conveyor flexible.
Accessories
A lubrication device is installed in the Unit Load Spiral Conveyor to simplify the work of maintenance.
SEW is the standard brand of the motor we use, while other brands
are also available, please specify.
The control box is not standard equipment for NEXUS Spiral Conveyor.
Frame
The frame of NEXUS Spiral Conveyor is made of stainless steel or
mild steel painted (double-coated: primer + topcoat).
Good materials ensure the durability and long service life of our conveyors.
Specification
● The standard widths of the slat chains:
*Customized widths such as 700, 800, 900, 1000 mm, can be achieved by doubling the track.
*135 &165 mm are the standard widths of the narrow-track spiral conveyors.
*Other customized widths are also available, please clarify your needs by filling out the questionnaire.
● The maximum number of turns is 12. The maximum height of a spiral conveyor is 12 m.
● The maximum temperature in the contact zone between the conveyor belt and products is 50ﾟC.

Speed
The maximum speed of NEXUS Unit Load Spiral Conveyors is 60 m/min.
Load Capacity
The maximum load capacity of a spiral conveyor depends on the tensile force of the transmission chain.
the safe range of total load capacity of mild-steel transmission chain is within 1200 Kg, and the safe range of total load capacity of stainless-steel transmission chain is within 1000 Kg.

Slat Chain
The slat chain is made of composite plastic material, which has the physical characteristics of high rigidity, high impact resistance, and low friction.
It can reduce the abrasion in the process of accumulation, as well as improving the stability and service life. Modular design simplifies the work of maintenance and replacement.

Without special tools or complicated procedures, it can be quickly installed on the transmission chain.

● Outstanding Load Capacity & Smooth Operation
NEXUS modular slat chain is our patented innovation. Load capacity is enhanced.
● Slat Chain with TPR (rubber cover)
-Rubber cover (TPR) with high friction coefficient can be added to the surface of the slat chain. It is advised to be used in upwards/downwards spiral conveyors with incline/decline angle exceed 37°.
-Surface of plastic has a low-friction coefficient. The difference in packing materials influences inclined angles, please contact us for advice.
-Once the speed exceeds 45 M/min, the inclined angle should be reduced 5 % for each 5 M/min acceleration.
-In a special high/low-temperature environment, the rubber cover (TPR) is not suitable for use.
